SPC leader presents on underrepresented minorities in STEM programs

Magaly Tymms, Director of Institutional Effectiveness at St. Petersburg College, was chosen to present on Exploring the Impact STEM Undergraduate Research Experiences (UREs) have on Underrepresented Minorities at this year’s American Association of Colleges and Universities’ (AAC&U) prestigious and highly competitive Transforming STEM Higher Education conference.  Held virtually this year Nov. 5-7, the conference focuses on questioning and examining contemporary challenges to and opportunities for STEM higher education reform in ways that advantage all and disadvantage none. Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art virtual silent auction

From Nov. 1-7, the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art (LRMA) is hosting a virtual silent auction. This year, LRMA celebrates with the theme “The Art of Community”, highlighting the stories, people, and partners that contribute to our continued growth and make it possible for the Museum to build a solid foundation as we continue to pursue our mission and serve our community. Winter/spring registration open

Registration is now open for the 2021 Spring Term at SPC. Get started at Students can choose from face-to-face and online classes, as well as our SPC LIVE Online classes – the college’s virtual classroom experience that uses Zoom video conferencing. SPC also offers convenient shorter sessions during the term, including an 8-week Winter Session from Dec. 14, 2020- Jan. 10, 2021.

A panel of industry professionals will discuss trends in the technology field, career readiness tips, and how to succeed when you enter the industry.
