Celebration for Spring and Summer 2020 graduates on Oct. 10

St. Petersburg College’s Spring and Summer 2020 graduates will have the opportunity to commemorate their success with family and friends when the college hosts a celebration at two of its campuses on Oct. 10.

Celebration times and locations:

  • Clearwater Campus Arts Auditorium | 9 a.m. - Noon
  • St. Petersburg/Gibbs Campus Music Center | 1 - 4 p.m.

SPC receives 2020 Best of the Bay

SPC’s Theater Department was named the second-best theater production in Creative Loafing Tampa's annual Best of the Bay competition for its rendition of The Laramie Project. Learn more here.

SPC offers training for Pinellas County residents unemployed, furloughed due to COVID-19

The area’s workforce continues to feel the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, whether through lost jobs or shrinking incomes. St. Petersburg College is offering short-term training so Pinellas County residents can get back on their feet in high-demand industries. Learn more here:

Still time to register for fall - classes start Oct. 12

The 2020-21 academic year is now underway, but it’s not too late to take fall classes at SPC! The college is offering convenient shorter sessions, including an 8-week session that opens Oct. 12. Students can choose from face-to-face and online classes, as well as our SPC LIVE Online classes – the college’s virtual classroom experience that uses Zoom video conferencing. The Applied Ethics Institute of St. Petersburg College is proud to present this year’s Keith Goree Memorial Ethics Lecture, delivered by distinguished philosopher Todd May. Professor May will shed light on our current era of political crisis, discuss what such times require of us, and show how our response reveals our moral character.
