APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR INDIVIDUAL ARTIST GRANTS
Deadline: Friday, April 3 at 5 pm
The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance in partnership with the City of St. Petersburg’s Office of Cultural Affairs is accepting applications for our Individual Artist Grant Program. Fifteen $1,000 each grants are intended to provide financial assistance to City of St. Petersburg resident artists. The program is designed to support public engagement of individual artists’ work/projects in the Visual/Craft Arts, Dance, Music, Theater or Literature.
The applicant's resume must show commitment to the art form through education, training or professional experience, and must show evidence of exhibition, public performance or being published during the past two years.
- The grant period is May 1, 2020 through September 18, 2020.
- Applicants may request funding up to $1,000.

Celebrating Quilts and Community at the St. Pete Coliseum
The 19th Quilt Show presented by Suncoast Quilting Circle will feature 200+ traditional, art and modern quilts, Special Exhibits: St. Petersburg Transitions (art quilts) and Transitions in the City (modern quilts), 25+ vendors, Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild, Quilts of Valor presentations, educational presentations, certified quilt appraiser (fee), baby boutique, silent auction, raffle baskets and chances to win the beautiful quilt picture above (sales in part to benefit the St. Petersburg Free Clinic). It's so much more than your grandmother's bed quilt!
