4th Annual Beer and Bow Ties Event to Benefit the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

What: Annual fundraising event to raise money for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to support their suicide prevention and awareness efforts.

When:
Friday, September 14th from 6:00 – 10:00pm

Where: The Orlo House & Ballroom, Tampa, FL 33606

Why this is important: Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in Florida and the 3rd leading cause of death for youth and young adults ages 10-24. Beer & Bow Ties raises awareness and support for suicide prevention programs available to people within the Tampa Bay community.

TAMPA, Fla., September 4, 2018 – The 4th annual Beer and Bow Ties fundraising event will take place on Friday, September 14th at the Orlo House and Ballroom beginning at 6:00pm. The event serves as a fundraiser benefitting the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to assist in their awareness and outreach programs for suicide prevention.

The event is presented by the Spencer Hall Memorial Endowment for Mental Health, and sponsored additionally by Morgan Automotive Group, The District, Chris Curran Real Estate, Preston & Farley, Inc., Lincoln Financial Group, The Alvarado Experience, First Citrus Bank, National Center for Performance Health, Bernstein, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, and Bio One.

General admission tickets include craft beer from local vendors, spirits, and delicious tapas from local restaurants. VIP tickets are sold out.

The Beer and Bow Ties event was started by friends Brent Kraus and Kim Randall out of a passion to help provide resources for suicide prevention and awareness after individually experiencing the loss of a loved one due to suicide.
