Nonprofit Executive, Stacey Efaw, Joins Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County as Vice President of Development

Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County CEO, Mike Sutton, has announced the hiring of long-time Tampa Bay nonprofit executive, Stacey Efaw, as the organization’s Vice President of Development. Ms. Efaw comes to Habitat Pinellas from the Humane Society of Pinellas County where she served as Executive Director for the past two years.
 
“Due to our growth over the past few years, Habitat for Humanity is committed to long-term sustainability of our programs here in Pinellas County,” says Mike Sutton, CEO. “That commitment has led our organization to focus on retaining and attracting the best talent possible to move the Habitat mission forward. We are so excited about the addition of Stacey Efaw to our executive team!”

Ms. Efaw attended the University of South Florida, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, followed by her MBA. One of Stacey’s greatest joys in life is utilizing her over 20 years’ business and management experience to improve and grow non-profit organizations. Prior to her role with the Humane Society, Stacey served for 13 years as the CEO for Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), a social service agency in Hillsborough County. During her tenure, Stacey successfully transformed this struggling charity into a thriving and growing pillar in the community.
