‘Move More Day’ Rally and Walk Tomorrow Promotes Healthy Lifestyle

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (April 3, 2018) – Everyone’s encouraged to get active with a walk around North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Dr. NE, tomorrow, April 4, during the American Heart Association’s ‘Move More Day’ Rally and Walk. Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin leads the walk, which gets underway at 11:30 a.m. The hour-long upbeat event also features live music and giveaways. The event is hosted by the American Heart Association, Healthy St. Pete, the City of St. Petersburg.

During the month of April, the American Heart Association encourages Americans to Move More and make the commitment to physical activity. Healthy St. Pete is the city’s initiative which strives to improve the health and well-being of residents in St. Pete by incorporating wellness, healthy living, and exercise through innovative projects and partnerships with organizations, such as the American Heart Association.
