The UPS Store - St. Petersburg's Fourth Street Business District to Host Grand Opening Celebration

The UPS Store®, conveniently located at 740 4th Street North in St. Petersburg’s rapidly growing Fourth Street Business District, will host its grand opening celebration on March 6, 2018 from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Following a catered BBQ lunch, the celebration will continue with a ribbon cutting by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of a new one-stop
shop for print and business services, The UPS Store in St. Pete’s Fourth Street Business District. Having a local partner to support the businesses and entrepreneurs in our downtown area is key to a business’s success and we thank Alan and Christian for their entrepreneurship and love for St. Pete,” said Chris Steinocher, President and CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

The UPS Store is an official drop-off site for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank, so as part of the celebration anyone who brings 2 non-perishable food items, now through then end of March, will receive a discount coupon for 25%.

“The store opened its doors on October 16, 2017 and the response from the community has been amazing,” said Alan Baer, The UPS Store, franchise co-owner. “We are overwhelmed by the kind words our customers have to say. To date we have 27 5-Star Google reviews.”

Customers have said “This UPS store has THE BEST customer service and the friendliest staff . . .”, “If I could give this store 10 stars, I would . . .”, and “Stopped by this weekend to ship some packages and was a fantastic experience. Yeah, never thought I would say that about a trip to a UPS Store . . .”

“As a one-stop shop for shipping, postal, printing and comprehensive small business services, we look forward to serving individuals and local business owners within the community,” said co-owner Christian Stuck.

In addition to domestic and international shipping and packaging, The UPS Store offers fullservice printing, including in-house large format printing and document scanning in addition to document presentation and finishing; (business cards, letterhead, reports, rubber stamps, etc.); black-and-white and color copies; notary; custom crating and shipping for large items (furniture, artwork, motorcycles, etc.); mailbox and postal services.

“We are in the business of saving people time, and with shipping prices direct from UPS, we can save them money as well,” said Stuck. “At The UPS Store, we’re committed to providing convenient small business services with personalized and dedicated customer service and are privileged to be working with such clients as 4th and Vine, Myers Antiques and Fine Art, and the Imagine Museum.”

Prior to opening The UPS Store, Alan was in the hospitality industry for 35 years serving in numerous positions from General Manager to Chief Financial Officer. Christian was Director of Digital Strategy at Columbia Law School and most recently Senior Software Engineer for TUI Group - North America.

The UPS Store is open 7 days a week per week (M-F 7:30a – 7:00p, Sat. 8:30a – 5:00p, and 10:00a – 2:00p).
