American Stage presents new American Stories series plus two upcoming improv shows.

St. Petersburg, FL – American Stage is excited to annouce a new American Stories series in October. The first of this series will be called HEROES & VILLAINS. In addition to this series, we will have two improv shows, Hawk & Wayne’s ANYWHERE, U.S.A. and our House Teams Live with As Per Usual and Separate Checks.

Artists and storytellers from all over the Bay Area come together to share their tales through powerful song, moving poetry, riveting comedy. Take a unique journey that is alternately funny, touching, and incendiary -- giving us different perspectives on what is means to live in America. Featuring: Ned AverillSnell, Katie Berger, Colleen Cherry, Jonathan Cho, Jeff Darland, Michael John Foster, Patrick A. Jackson, Maureen McDole, Lori Shannon…and more.

Plus our LIFE opportunity drawing will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 7PM before the Heroes & Villains event in the American Stage lobby cabaret. World famous glass artisan, Duncan McClellan, has created ‘Life.’ Inspired by the production design for GOOD PEOPLE, this one-of-a-kind piece will appear on our set throughout the production run. Proceeds benefit American Stage. The retail value of this piece is $3200 and could be yours by entering our opportunity drawing today! There are only 200 tickets available for $30 each. Visit new places, faces, and stories across the country! A longform, narrative improv show full of oddball characters that digs into the American Stage mainstage theme this season, "In Search of America..." Each performance will take place the first Sunday of each month at 6pm, now through August 2017 and will contain new content.
