Fifteen Firm Lawyers Recognized as Florida ''Super Lawyers'' or ''Rising Stars'' - July 2016


Eleven of the firm’s lawyers - Don M. Stichter, Harley E. Riedel, Russell M. Blain, Charles A. Postler, Scott A. Stichter, Stephen R. Leslie, Edward J. Peterson, Elena Paras Ketchum, Barbara A. Hart, Susan H. Sharp, Jodi D. Cooke - were named among Florida's Super Lawyers in the 2016 edition of Super Lawyers Magazine. Four other lawyers - Amy D. Harris, Daniel R. Fogarty, Michael J. Hooi, and Mark F. Robens - were recognized as “Rising Stars,” in the Bankruptcy: Business practice area.

Harley E. Riedel, a founding shareholder of the firm, was also named for the seventh consecutive year as one of the Top 10 Lawyers in the State of Florida regardless of practice area. Russell M. Blain was also named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in the State of Florida for the eighth consecutive year. Elena P. Ketchum was also named as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in the State of Florida. Mr. Riedel, Mr. Blain, and Ms. Ketchum were also listed among the Top 50 Lawyers in Tampa Bay.

Stichter, Riedel was the only firm in the State of Florida with as many as fifteen lawyers listed as Super Lawyers or Rising Stars in the practice area of Bankruptcy: Business. Lawyers are chosen to be Super Lawyers or Rising Stars following an extensive process of nominations, balloting, blue ribbon panel review, and independent research compiled by Law & Politics magazine. Only 5% of the lawyers in Florida were selected as Super Lawyers.
