Public Workshop on San Martin Blvd. Bridge Project Set For Monday

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (July 15, 2016) -Interested citizens are invited to attend a workshop on Monday, July 18, to learn about possible alternatives to rehabilitate or rebuild St. Petersburg's San Martin Boulevard Bridge, which spans Riviera Bay. The workshop will be held in Diffley Hall, Holy Family Church, 200 78th Ave. NE, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The area under consideration is from Tallahassee Drive to Weedon Drive in St.
Petersburg. A separate component will evaluate trail enhancements from Macoma Drive to Gandy Boulevard.

During the workshop, residents, business and property owners and others interested in the project will have an opportunity to comment on alternatives currently under consideration. Members of the project team will be available to answer questions about the study process, engineering aspects of the bridge and any environmental and recreational considerations that may be affected by the project. A brief PowerPoint presentation on the study alternatives will be available for viewing during the workshop.
