The Florida InfoGuide celebrates its 15th anniversary

This July, The Florida InfoGuide celebrates its 15th anniversary. According to publisher and president Bob Marcus, “I started the InfoGuide with one blank sheet of paper and told people to trust me. I saw a need in the marketplace for a quarterly tourist publication that is chocked full of local information unlike other publications that are just all ads.”

The publication has pages on Suncoast birds, palm trees, fish and the favorite, sea shells page. It also has 8 detailed maps which makes it a great take home souvenir. “We try to keep each issue fresh by putting in a variety of stories about Fort De Soto, manatees, gators, dolphins and a lot more”, says Marcus. This issue has a special story about the ‘Tampa Triangle’. It’s a collection of very unusual stories about the area written by Captain Bill Miller.
You can pick up the InfoGuide at one of 500 locations in Pinellas County. They are in most hotels, motels, attractions, businesses, 3 airports and 3 Publix shopping markets.

According the Marcus, “we have over 110 advertisers per issue because we give advertisers what they want; a great return on investment at a low rate.”
