U.S. News & World Report Ranks Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as the Top Children’s Hospital on Florida’s West Coast
St. Petersburg, Fla. – June 21, 2016 – U.S. News & World Report ranked Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as one of the top children’s hospitals in the U.S. in the latest 2016-17 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings.
The hospital ranked in six pediatric specialty areas, including:
• #30 Cardiology & Heart Surgery
• #30 Orthopedics
• #39 Neonatology
• #46 Urology
• #49 Pulmonology
• #50 Cancer
Johns Hopkins All Children’s was the only children’s hospital on Florida’s West Coast that made the list. The hospital also ranked the highest in Florida for pediatric orthopedics.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals rankings help parents determine where to get the best medical care for their children. Each year, the rankings highlight the top 50 U.S. pediatric facilities in 10 specialty areas, which include: cancer, cardiology & heart surgery, diabetes & endocrinology, gastroenterology & GI surgery, neonatology, nephrology, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.
Specialists at Johns Hopkins All Children’s also collaborate on treatment and research with colleagues at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, which ranked in all 10 specialty areas.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals rankings are based on clinical data and an annual survey of pediatric specialists.
