Three Fisher Phillips Attorneys in Tampa Listed in Florida Super Lawyers for 2016

TAMPA (June 9, 2016) – Three partners in the Tampa office of Fisher Phillips have been included in Florida Super Lawyers for 2016. Steve Bernstein, Theresa Gallion and Christine Howard, who practice labor and employment law, were recognized by their peers as outstanding lawyers in Florida.

Bernstein, regional managing partner in the Tampa office of Fisher Phillips, has represented employers throughout the United States in a traditional labor practice 26 years. He advises clients on union-related matters and compliance with the NLRA, the WARN Act, USERRA, FMLA, and the ADA. In his practice, he emphasizes preventive employee relations programs that include supervisory training and effective human resources policies and procedures. He has been recognized in Florida Super Lawyers since 2012.
Gallion, partner in the Tampa office, has been practicing labor and employment law for 34 years. She specializes in complex employment litigation, with a focus on hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and telecommunications. Gallion is one of the firm's most experienced trial lawyers, and has successfully tried more than 40 jury trials in employment cases. She devotes a substantial portion of her practice to management training on equal employment opportunity and diversity. This is the tenth consecutive year Gallion has been recognized in Florida Super Lawyers.
Howard, a partner in the Tampa and Atlanta offices, has more than 25 years of experience in labor and employment law, focusing on defending employment discrimination, harassment, leave and disability, and wage and hour complaints. In the last decade, she has defended numerous collective action cases filed on behalf of classes of employees alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. She successfully defeated class certification in practically every instance. In addition to her litigation work, Howard conducts workplace investigations, compliance audits and management training. She has been listed in Florida Super Lawyers since 2013.
