World Day Festival of Cultural Diversity

In observance of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on May 21, SPIFFS and the Friends of the Sunshine Center are joining together to celebrate Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and also Older Americans Month in a multi-cultural festival. World Day is a day set aside by the United Nations as an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the values of cultural diversity.

A variety of ethnic foods will be available for sale - Indian, Thai, Japanese, African-American, Chinese, German, Bulgarian, Colombian, Venezuelan and more. Folk music and dance will be performed by Russian, Serbian, German, Dominican, Panamanian and several other groups. Crafters and non-profit groups will also be part of the festivities. Vendors are invited to contact SPIFFS.

Time: 10 am - 3 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016
