(St. Petersburg, FL) April 27, 2016– Great Explorations Children’s Museum is proud to be participating in the third annual Give Day Tampa Bay on May 3, 2016, with exciting events, chance drawings and perks for our donors.
Give Day Tampa Bay is a 24-hour, online giving event, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay designed to increase philanthropy in the Bay area and raise awareness of the amazing work local nonprofits do in this community. Give Day Tampa Bay also offers cash prizes to the participating non-profits with the most donations, another reason to give on May 3.
Great Explorations Children’s Museum will be kicking off our Give Day events with a Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A on 4th Street on May 2nd from 5-8 p.m. Great Explorations will be providing crafts and activities for children at the 4th Street location and Chick-fil-a 4th Street will donate a portion of their sales to Great Ex during this time.
Then all day on May 3rd, we encourage you to participate on Give Day with a $25 or more donation to Great Explorations on giveday.org for the chance to win some great prizes and perks! With your donation, you will be entered to win a Great Ex package, including a Great Membership and Great Stuff gift shop goodies (valued at $200), or a Kendra Scott matching earring and necklace set (valued at $150). Also, show proof of this donation at Souzou, an upscale Asian fusion restaurant on 4th street, and receive a free drink!
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 3rd, The Littlest Trunk Children’s and Maternity Resale Boutique, located on 66th Street, will be donating 50% of their sales. The Littlest Trunk offers adorable clothes for your little ones, plus cute and trendy styles for expecting mothers, educational toys, strollers and more – all at a fraction of the retail price.
From 3-7 p.m. on Give Day, Ashe Couture Boutique on Central Avenue will be donating 15% of their sales. This chic woman’s boutique offers everything from trendy rompers and dresses to dainty necklaces and fashion-forward swimwear.
We will be finishing our Give Day events at the Canopy, located on top of the Birchwood Hotel from 7-9 p.m. The Canopy will be contributing 25% of sales and giving a free house wine, Stoli or Jack Daniels single-well drink with your $25+ donation to Great Explorations. Great Explorations will also have an opportunity drawing during this time with a chance to win a Kendra Scott matching earring and necklace set. With their cabanas, fire pits and specialty drinks, The Canopy sets the tone for an outdoor nightlife scene that cannot be found anywhere else in St. Pete.
It’s so simple to support Great Ex on Give Day Tampa Bay. Visit www.GiveDay.org on May 3, 2016 and find Great Explorations, Inc. in the list of participating organizations.
