Press Release: Lina Teixeira debuts new line of Wearable Art at The Studio@620 on April 16, 2016

St. Petersburg, FL (April 5, 2016) — The Studio@620 invites you to a runway event where fashion and art merge into a stunning display of color and couture. Designer, author, and concept shoot director Lina Teixeria will present a line of gorgeous art and fashion. The exhibit will showcase an eclectic collection of wearable art pieces specifically designed for The Studio@620. Lina will also debut her new Wearable Art on Canvas Collection. The Exhibit will include headpieces, gowns, corsets, and purses. Lissette Campos from ABC Action News will be the MC for the evening.
“Be The Art” will feature a new dress created in the space of The Studio during the week prior to the event. “I’ll be making a new dress here in the space just for this show, it is really exciting” Teixeira said.
Lina is passionate about wearable art and her work has been featured in local and international magazines, blogs, and newspapers as well as on television and at institutions ranging from the Mahaffey Theater to the Museum of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg. She was the opening designer at the Atlantic City Fashion Week where she was awarded "Best Couture Designer 2014", as well as closing for the Brooklyn Fashion Week and was part of the First Annual Cuban Festival.
