Founded in 1926, the American Legion Hospital for Crippled Children cared for children with polio and other crippling disorders. After development of the polio vaccine, the hospital re-opened in 1967 as All Children’s Hospital, dedicated to meeting a wide range of medical needs for infants, children and teens.
