Harborage Marina opens the first and only full-service mega yacht port on Florida’s west coast, celebrating with a ribbon cutting and public tours offered aboard the Tall Ship Lynx

 

St. Petersburg, FL—Join St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Chris Steinocher and other elected officials and community leaders as the city ushers in a new landmark—the only full-service mega yacht marina on the west coast of Florida—at The Harborage Marina. This port provides unparalleled access to mega yachts en route to Cuba and other popular destinations and serves as a necessary resource for the region. All are invited to join in on the ribbon cutting ceremony to be held on March 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. located at the Harborage Marina: 1110 3rd Street South, Saint Petersbrug, FL 33701.

 

Among the mega yachts currently enjoying the facility is the Tall Ship Lynx, which will be offering public tours as a part of the grand opening celebration. The Tall Ship Lynx will remain in port until March 22nd, and on Wednesday, March 16th the Tall Ship Lynx, in partnership with the Harborage Marina and the City of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation, will be hosting tours for underprivileged youth. The mega yacht docks at the Harborage marina can accommodate yachts up to 250 feet in length, using custom engineered state-of-the-art concrete floating docks that provide newly installed and completely enclosed connections to power (480 watts), plumbing and sewage. The Harborage Marina uses concrete pilings and allow for a rise of 12 feet and are capable of withstanding a 10 foot storm surge.

 

Marina facilities include full service concierge amenities for mega yachts, a swimming pool and two sets of men’s and women’s restrooms and showers plus laundry facilities for all Harborage guests to enjoy.
