New Goodwill Store in Clearwater Opens March 19!
Grand Opening celebration all weekend long!

Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. announces the opening of a new store in Pinellas County. The newest Goodwill retail location is at 16494 US Hwy 19 N. in Clearwater.

The grand opening celebration will take place Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20. Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Festivities will include hourly drawings for Goodwill gift cards and free cookies for shoppers throughout the weekend.

Goodwill-Suncoast’s Clearwater store is the tenth store opened in West Central Florida since 2001. It joins an existing three-building campus of Goodwill-Suncoast operations and services, including its BookWorks childhood literacy program, Human Resources, Community Employment Services and a Life Skills Development program for adults with disabilities. Like Goodwill’s other clean, well-organized stores, it’s sure to appeal to a wide cross-section of value-conscious shoppers. The store will be stocked with donated clothing, furniture and household items, as well as a wide variety of brand-new products. The 21,000-square-foot store will employ approximately 25 people.

Besides being a bargain-hunter’s paradise, the store will offer a convenient drive-through donation lane. This will give area residents a place to easily drop off items they no longer need, contributing to a greener community while supporting Goodwill-Suncoast’s services to thousands of people in West Central Florida.

Successful stores are critical to Goodwill’s mission, as retail revenue helps support the agency’s many human services.
