Flair Airlines Adds Non-stop service to St.Pete-Clearwater International Airport
Immediate Release
December 21, 2018

Flair Airlines (Winnipeg, MB): Flair, Canada’s sole independent low-fare airline, is the only Canadian carrier to offer nonstop service between St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport and Winnipeg International Airport.  On December 21st, 2018 Flair begins twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays.

Over the last twelve months, Flair has rapidly expanded its network and fleet to include three newly leased Boeing 737800NG aircraft: Since June, the airline has welcomed over 100 new staff to accommodate this rapid growth.    Flair’s Executive Chairman, David Tait, commented, “We are delighted to include St. Pete-Clearwater to our growing route network. We know the community of Winnipeg is looking forward to escaping to your snow-free beaches and other attractions. At the same time, if anyone wants to slip away to see some real winter, we have some great fares to Canada.” In January flights to Winnipeg are currently available for as little as $111.00 one-way.

“We are excited to provide new travel options from the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport,” said Tom Jewsbury, Airport Director. “I would like to thank Flair for resuming non-stop service from Winnipeg, Canada to our award winning destination that the Tampa Bay area hasn’t had since the 1990s.”

As a scheduled airline, Flair has flown more than 1.3 million passengers throughout Canada. Today is a significant milestone as the independently owned airline adds its sixth US destination.

About Flair Airlines  For over a decade Flair operated as a charter carrier before transitioning to scheduled service in 2017.
