USAmeriBank launches Women Entrepreneurs program
New initiative aims to connect women professionals and enrich their personal and professional lives

CLEARWATER, Fla. (January 12, 2017) – USAmeriBank has launched Women Entrepreneurs (WE), a program that aims to support local businesswomen and enrich their personal and professional lives through handcrafted banking solutions, networking and educational opportunities.

With a staff that is more than 70 percent female and with several women in key leadership and Board of Director positions, USAmeriBank has been a leader in recognizing the growing role of women professionals in the community.

CFO Amanda Stevens serves as the Executive Sponsor of the program, while USAB’s Cami Gibertini serves as the Director. “At USAmeriBank, we value our ability to serve as a point of connection between our customers,” Stevens said. “We’re excited to see that relationships have already developed as a result of WE events and members have started conducting business with one another.”

As part of the program launch, USAmeriBank held preview events to introduce customers to the program’s mission and offerings, and solicit their feedback. Kathy McKnight, owner of Automated Petroleum in Brandon, attended an event in Tampa. She enjoyed the opportunity to converse and participate in team building with other area businesswomen.

“It was a pleasure to meet so many ambitious and intelligent women who have had success in business,” McKnight said. “We all took the risk and have gained the satisfaction that accompanies success as a woman in the business world.”

WE officially kicked off with a launch event in late November at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club. The evening featured networking and mini sessions with speakers including CNN commentator Kayleigh McEnany, USAmeriBank Chief Investment Officer and Economist David Ide, USAmeriBank Vice President and SBA Business Development Officer Garrett VonEye, and Cindy Moran, consultant with Predictive Results, which works with companies to improve hiring assessments and leadership development.

In addition to networking and educational opportunities, Gibertini shared that WE will offer members a chance to make an impact in the community and participate in volunteer projects through WE Give Back.
Other program benefits include the opportunity to reserve the Bank’s conference rooms as meeting space.

The WE program will launch in USAmeriBank’s Alabama markets in early 2017. For more information about the program, contact Cami Gibertini, SVP/Director of Women Entrepreneurs, at 813-315-3122 or
