Station House Reveals New Urban Development Plans
Historic St. Petersburg Building to Undergo Urban Upgrades in 2017

Tampa Bay, FLA (December 19th, 2016) - The Station House, located in downtown St. Petersburg just announced urban developments in the upcoming year for the popular mixed-use structure. Most notable will be the addition of a New York-Style Rooftop Garden Terrace and a new multi-experience restaurant concept, yet to be unveiled.

The new garden terrace will include a shaded pergola system with extensive green-space, foliage, and vines reminiscent of a New York City rooftop that will cater to intimate rooftop parties and dining. The restaurant entry will shift to the front of the building to create harmonic traffic flow between the 5 floors of the building and to give it a street presence as guests enter off of 1st Ave South. Plans also include an undisclosed muralist and other features to the entry, streetscape, and landscaping.

“It’s again time for Station House to recruit talented designers and partners from the best cities all over the world and introduce them to St Pete. That’s my purpose, to continue to raise the bar in the way so many of us are doing in St. Pete at all levels, but as always with a few tricks up our sleeves.” says Gianfilippo, (www.gianco.co) proprietor.

Although the restaurant partnership will not be disclosed until renovations start early in 2017, Gianfilippo promises that the redesign will elevate not only Station House from an entertainment and culinary standpoint, but the entire area with new and well-traveled talent, bringing even more diversity and community to downtown.

In addition to improvements to dining and late-night entertainment, Station House will be announcing a series of new mentoring and workshops, as well as Virtual Reality Gaming in the co-work space, a concept much like those of Silicon Valley. Furthermore, Gianfilippo will be adding a new men’s locker room with shower to its co-working and cultural platform, as well as complete it’s renovation of the Green Richman Arcade which is currently branded as Station House Arcade.

Restaurant renovations are slated to begin the first week in January, and Station House will still be catering and hosting several events on its event floors and rooftop while the restaurant is under construction, with expected completion by Spring or Summer of 2017.
