The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art Presentation

Here’s your opportunity to learn about St. Petersburg’s next art and cultural milestone. Emily Kapes, Art Collection Curator at Raymond James Financial, will preview the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art’s vision, art work and building on Thursday, Dec. 8 at Staybridge Suites, 940 5th Ave. S. Networking will start at 8:30 am. The presentation will begin at 9 am.

The James Museum has its roots in Tom and Mary James’ undivided love both for culture and the city of St. Petersburg. Through exhibitions and education programs, the museum will emphasize core values of the art that moved Tom and Mary James - action, fortitude, heritage, and integrity.

The James Museum will join with the Salvador Dali Museum, the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, the Chihuly Collection and the forthcoming Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement, among many other entities, in affirming St Petersburg, as a sophisticated arts and cultural destination for visitors and residents alike.

This program is presented by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance Education Committee.

Space is limited. Please RSVP to [email protected].

The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance strives to be the community voice for the arts -- empowering artists, arts organizations and creative businesses to work collaboratively. As an umbrella arts organization, we advocate for the arts, facilitate the growth of the arts community, and drive arts-related economic development in St. Petersburg.
